Give your parent community the opportunity in this video to hear from one of Little Highway Heroes creators about the wonderful wellbeing skills that their little person will be having the opportunity to learn. Hear about the Highway of Life Metaphor on which the program is based and the many skills that develop positive wellbeing that are included.

One of the core skills groups introduced to the students are those of emotional self-regulation (‘Inside Skills’) and how these can be combined with ‘Outside Skills’ (asking confidently to join in a game) that all children meet as part of everyday life.

Highway Heroes
Your parent community will have a unique opportunity to hear from one of the creators of Highway Heroes – the social and emotional wellbeing program for Years 1 – 6. Be introduced to the ‘Highway of Life’ metaphor and the Playground, Emotional and Classroom Highways that all primary school students are travelling on.

Understand the unique language and concepts and hear more about the thirty three skills your child will be learning along those Highways and that will enhance their social and emotional development and wellbeing.
